First of all, I would not recommend the Ilikai. I just recently got back from a trip to Hawaii, and this place looked like a total dump. The Outrigger Reef on the beach is beautiful. Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, just an over all great place. I would definently recommend it.

ohh definitely the Ko`olina resort. it is absolutely beautiful and has so many things to do there. the Ko`olina lagoons are wonderful. the water is clear, warm and there are many colorful fish.

Well it’s about 5000 KM Just a little more that Hawaii to Los Angeles. Time of year makes a big difference with the trade winds blowing( how much tacking) You’ll be heading SSW for about 25-30 days..

The Ala Moana Hotel.

The airport and the port is not within walking distance. The Ala Moana Hotel is the closest decent Hotel nearest the port. The rest are in Wakiki and they are all pretty darn good if you go 3 stars and up. Besides, it doesn’t really matter how good the hotel is, you won’t be staying in it long. Get out and have fun!!!

Yes, if you book online with the cruise line you can pay on installments. You must pay a minimum deposit when you book your cruise, a deposit for each person. Then you can go to the web site and make payments at any time, as long as the minimum payment is at least $100, or whatever the web site minimum is. I booked my last cruise online on Royal Caribbean this way and have another cruise for next year that I will make payment for in installments. You final payment must be made within about 60 days of the cruise.

You may want to check another airlines for their weight criteria on pets. I know several people who were allowed to have their dogs in a small cage with them during the flight.
