The catamaran sailing boat tours will strike a note with the kids..What’s better than sailing & looking for whales…even the ‘old timers’ like it.

If you’re looking to go whale watching, I would suggest you stick with the catamaran type tours or even the smaller “big” boats. You’ll have a better chance of seeing the whales if you’re in a smaller boat. As far as actually seeing whales, any company that guarantees you see a whale is a good one since if you don’t see a whale, you get to come back on another day free of charge.
