I’m a Hawaii person :]
For me it’s all about the weather. I’d much rather be walking outside in shorts and a tanktop barefoot just relaxing then be cold. Also the atmosphere is great, everyone is so laid back and approachable. But don’t get me wrong, Alaska is probably amazing considering I’ve never been there. I’ve heard a lot of great things about people who have done the cruise, I just can’t stand being cold, so it’s not exactly the best place for me.
No worries though, you don’t have to pick favorites =]

If you like the outdoors, then Alaska is great. Camping, hunting, fishing. If not go for Hawaii, more to do year round and you don’t get snow in your boots. Trust me it sux.
